Safe, warm and dry homes are a human right.

Rebuilding Together Kent County brings neighbors together to improve homes and lives. We leverage gifts of time, money and skill with volunteer and contract labor to repair and rehabilitate homes for income-eligible seniors, veterans, those living with disabilities, and families with children in Kent County. All work is done at no cost to the homeowner. Whatever your skills and experience may be, there is a way you can help work toward a safe and healthy home for every person in Kent County. Join the movement to end substandard housing in our community!

Repairing Homes

We use grants from foundations, federal, state and local governments as well as individual donations of time and money to provide home repairs and modifications to our neighbors with limited economic resources. Studies have shown that healthier homes improve the physical and mental health of residents, as well as improving economic health for the whole area. Building equity, particularly for historically marginalized community members, is not just a moral obligation, it also lifts up everyone in the area.

Revitalizing Communities

We bring neighbors, businesses and organizations together to repair homes and revitalize communities, preserving home-ownership, strengthening families and helping sustain the historical richness and inter-generational legacies that make Kent County a special place to live.

We repair and rehabilitate the houses of our neighbors, many of whom are seniors or people with disabilities. We perform all repairs at no cost to the homeowner, by combining gifts of money, donated supplies, and countless hours of volunteer and contracted labor.
